Vitour P1 Delivers at Road America Time Attack

The second weekend of April brought big results at Road America as the SCCA Time Attack National Series kicked off in full force—and Vitour P1 was front and center.

Dallas Reed ran the VitourP1.com E-Ray in the Unlimited category, featuring a square 345/25/19 setup on 19x11 front and 19x13.25 rear wheels. Road America presents a unique challenge for hybrid cars like the E-Ray, especially with extended periods of wide-open throttle. Strategic use of boost was key—conserving power for the right moments while maximizing exit speeds and corner drive.

Even with those constraints, the car was flying—and Vitour results didn’t stop there!

Vitour drivers claimed three of the top five overall positions, including Nick Hendrix (C6Z, 315/30/18 square) and Paul Ough (GT500, 315/30/20 square). Across the board, racers reported major performance gains compared to last year. Consistent grip. Predictable handling. And treadwear that shocked just about everyone.

This is what the P1 was built for.

Vitour domination extended through class podiums as well, with the tire proving fast and composed lap after lap—even under pressure.

To top it off, Dallas was honored with the Spirit of Time Trials award for the second time—recognized for his behind-the-scenes efforts supporting fellow competitors and pushing to bring meaningful, grassroots-focused change to SCCA through Vitour’s involvement.

Thanks to all the drivers running P1s and everyone who stopped by to chat trackside. Time Attack is heating up—and this season, the P1 is everywhere.
