What an incredible weekend at the IndySCCA Points Event 2! I had the pleasure of co-driving the Lotus with Brandon Porambo, the SCCA Solo BS National Champion from two years ago.
Event Conditions:
- Temperature: High 70s into the 80s
- Surface: Concrete
- Course: Fairly technical—not quite as tight as a Miata course, but definitely not an open layout.
While many cars around us were spraying their tires to manage heat, we never felt the need to spray the Vitour P1s. They performed flawlessly, coming into grip about a quarter of the way into our first run.
Performance Highlights:
Brandon and I finished at the top of the overall PAX, with Vitour P1s proving to be the tire to beat. Despite Brandon missing his fifth run, I’m confident he would have increased the gap at the top if he had completed it.
The Vitour P1s were, once again, exceptional in both grip and consistency, helping us secure top positions. The screenshot from live timing says it all:
- PAX 1, 2, 3, 11, and 16 were all on Vitour P1 tires!
Conclusion:
The Vitour P1s continue to impress, providing excellent grip, heat tolerance, and consistency throughout the event. If you’re looking for a competitive edge, these tires are a game-changer. Check them out at VitourP1.com!
