We had another fantastic weekend at the IndySCCA Points Event 3, and this time I was co-driving the Lotus with the incredibly talented Cameron Rhys Bidwell—he’s an absolute alien behind the wheel.
Event Conditions:
- Temperature: 80s, hot and sunny
- Surface: Concrete
- Strategy: While most serious competitors were hosing down their tires between runs to manage heat, we were possibly the only car that didn’t spray at all. The Vitour P1s felt hot between runs, but they handled the heat without any issues.
Performance Recap:
Personally, I didn’t connect with the course as well as I did the previous day, but I put down a run that I considered “okay,” enough to secure 3rd overall in PAX—so no complaints there!
Cameron, on the other hand, took a few runs to figure out the car. Like many others driving the Lotus for the first time, he hit a few cones and spun, but once he got the hang of it, he laid down an absolute flyer—a second faster than my best run. Cameron’s run ended up over a second faster in both PAX and raw than anyone else at the event. His skill level is something else, and the Vitour P1s helped him maximize that performance.

Zach Rogers' Success with the Vitour P1s
