GRIDLIFE Midwest delivered another unforgettable weekend, and the Vitour P1 was all over the front of the pack. From Street to TrackMod, P1 drivers laid down fast laps, grabbed podiums, and proved again that the P1 is a serious contender on the national stage.
StreetMod win and fastest 200tw lap of the event
Kyle McKiou took the StreetMod sprint win, locking down a podium finish in one of the most competitive classes of the weekend. His sprint time was second fastest overall, capping off a weekend of strong, consistent driving.
Eric “Dewey” Dewitt threw down a 1:30 qualifying lap in StreetMod—making the Vitour P1 the fastest 200tw tire of the entire event. Dewey had edged out Kyle in multiple sessions on P1s, but when he switched to RE71RS for the sprint, it was Kyle (still on Vitours) who came out on top.
Both drivers were flying all weekend—Dewey qualified second overall, with Kyle right behind in fourth, both on Vitours.
Podiums and standout performances across classes
In StreetGT, Nick Hendrix put Vitour on the podium in the sprint despite battling a sticking clutch in his C6Z. Justin Peachey also made the sprint after a strong qualifying effort in TrackMod—cracking the top 10 overall—but his race ended early with a blown head gasket.
Street class saw a strong Vitour showing heading into the sprint, with three drivers in the top five:
- Brad Moore (718)
- Josh Halka (Impreza)
- Mike Coons (Impreza)
All on P1s, all putting in serious work.
Even in the B Group, the Vitour presence was clear. I managed a new PB in the C8 Stingray and found myself right between Brad and Josh in qualifying—two strong Street-class drivers who were both on P1s.
Vitour P1 consistency sets it apart
Throughout the weekend, one thing stood out: consistency. Being able to run a full session—or lay down another flyer after a flag—mattered. The P1 delivered lap after lap, with zero falloff and total confidence in each session.
A few drivers running other 200tw options early on were already talking about making the switch by the time Sunday rolled around. The way the P1 held up across multiple classes didn’t go unnoticed.
Vitour P1 continues to prove itself at national events
With wins, podiums, new records, and personal bests across the board, GRIDLIFE Midwest 2025 was another strong showing for the Vitour P1. Whether it was dominating StreetMod, locking in fast qualifying times, or showing up in every run group, P1 drivers made a statement.
The Vitour P1 is doing more than showing potential—it’s winning, consistently, at the national level.
